I've always enjoyed transforming & bringing to life flat imagery into a dimensional display.
CA MISSION PROJECT: It was important this project look handmade. My son hand wrote everything, but I came up with the concept to make this a giant dimensional experiential brochure so it creates a greater impact on the audience, compared to a regular flat paper tri-fold brochure. Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana has beautiful gardens on its property. So the idea was to give the illusion of experiencing the gardens while learning about the mission. The images & text portions are glued to thin cardboard and elevated by pieces of Styrofoam that is glued to the project board. Artificial floral was selected by us and strategically hot glued to the board in between the raised text & photo cards. Colored construction paper was also used for the background.
This Halloween Display was made just for fun at the office. Everyone got a letter in the word HAPPY. I got the letter "P." Materials are paper, planner components & stickers, washi tape, paper clips, a retail peg, and a real mini pumpkin.
